Early life and family

Delia was the fourth and last child of Augustus and Frederika Reichman. She was six years younger than Abby, her closest sibling, and seven and nine years younger than her brother Rudy and sister Katrina, respectively. She was a colicky baby and stubborn child, never developing close relationships with any of her family. She preferred to keep her own company during the family's years at the Rock, losing herself in a small cache of books she'd demanded to bring from the family home before they fled. Despite her stunning looks and constant line of would-be suitors, she was beside herself in her teen years at the settlement at Summerland as early scavenging missions carried out by the MPD resulted in a large library. She hand-picked a number of the most provocative texts for the library at Mansion Inn. She spent most of the short time she lived there in the library, devouring books on social revolution. She railed at her parents and family for their greed and selfishness and, in retaliation, her father confiscated the books.

In November 2097, shortly after her 17th birthday, Delia went missing from Mansion Inn and evidence strongly suggested she ran away, though an abduction could not be officially ruled out. She left no note or explanation.

Disposition and traits

Delia was passionate and wilful. She felt like an outsider in her family and never enjoyed much love from anyone other than the hired servants. As she grew older she felt these workers were not being fairly compensated and wanted to see the Four Families share their wealth with the rest of the citizenry of the new society, and extend charity to the scavengers in the city.

It's questionable how much of what she read she truly understood due to her limited schooling, but she comprehended enough to advocate for social revolution and a radical redistribution of wealth. From the guarded confines of her homes, it's fair to say she had a naive view of scavengers and life in Riverotwn, similar to old notions of the "noble savage" and life in the wild.

Goals and motivations

Delia was committed to spreading the wealth of the Four Families, and her family in particular, to "the people." She shared special foods and other treats with her servants, teachers, and keepers as gesture of solidarity. During verbal exchanges with her family, she suggested that she would turn the citizens of the MPD against them one day.

Primary residence

Delia lived in several locations over her first 17 years of life, but spent her most formative years at Summerland and Mansion Inn.

Attributes and Abilities

Delia is an emphatic and engaging speaker, seemingly losing herself in her passion as she talks. This can either be inspiring or aggravating depending on the perspective of the listener. Delia, however, is remarkably beautiful, a fact of which she seems almost unaware.
