Anyway, nice work with "How the Other Half Lives." I liked them getting stoned in the afternoon together. Without wasting a minute I wrote this one entitled "Future Investments" that pushes the plot forward. Unless you have a better idea.

Frederika isn't a great leader by any stretch and the peeps that know her don't like her too much. I mean, would you? But the problem is that she's at the top of the pyramid and everyone wants to take her down. So what if instead of being a better leader, she just gets everyone good and stoned? If they can mass produce jack, then she can dope everyone up to make the whole post-apocalypse thing a wee bit less horrific. Then they get off her ass about not having hot water and shit, and everyone can just mellow out.

So this helps a couple pieces fall into place. It gives Frederika and Betsy reasonable motivations (not that it matters a ton for the players, but it does shape the rest of the plot a bit). It will also give the MPD folks something to do, mostly Ellen. She wants to go shoot stuff and have a lot of combat, so let's send her out to the wastes and have her running raids on sub-labs. Good action movie fodder there. Third, that makes Erik a target without him even knowing it.

If that works drop Ellen an email letting her know her new assignment and where she'll be starting next session. Copy me in, pretty please. If you want to modify this idea or reject it, you better have a damn good reason because this is brilliant.
