Location

Walerburg Drug had 5 locations in Rivertown: two in Rivertown North, two in Rivertown Central, and one in Rivertown South. Of the five locations, only one in Rivertown North is still standing.

History

Walerburg Drug began as a popular family-run pharmacy in downtown Sauklund, with the first store opening in 1875. In 1901, the Walerburg's opened their first store in downtown Rivertown, copying the iconic two-story layout of their flagship store.

Walerburg Drug enjoyed steady growth in their 238 years in business, experience significant booms in the 1920s, late 1950s, 1980s, mid-2000s, and then major leaps as they branched out internationally in 2075 to celebrate their bicentenary, opening branches in South America and Europe.

While the superflu seems like it would have been great for business for a pharmacy, it was actually the end for company.

Condition

The last Walerburg Drug in Rivertown is in extremely poor condition, having been gutted by fire. More of the interior was consumed by flame, though parts of the second story are still intact. The ground floor is also trecherous with cave ins and collapses likely; the basement is littered with corpses of scavengers.

Inhabitants

Scavengers infrequently inhabit Walerburg Drug. While the walls provide some shelter, clearing space on the floor without falling through it to your death dissuades scavengers from taking up residence even temporarily.

Contents

Theoretically it is possible for Walerburg Drug to contain scavengable items, though its condition makes that unlikely. However, there is the possibility that some scavenger might use the location as a secret storehouse for that very reason.
