Physical description

Electric torches have various shapes and sizes, but the most commonl kind measured 12-16" in length and weighed 1-2 lbs.

Traits and usage

Electric torches are primarily used for illuminating dark areas, although the heft and durability of an electric torch also makes it a handy club.

Advances in battery technology allows an electric torch to be used for years without needing a recharge.

Rarity and value

Electric torches are a common piece of equipment for MPD guards but are otherwise rare outside this usage. Charged electric torches are extremely valuable given the lack of electricity in the Greater Rivertown Area, though few people outside the MPD would have the ability to recharge the device once the battery runs down.
