<GM 16:30> Welcome to Le Grande Experiment! Partial disclosure: we're running SIX campaigns simultaneously this afternoon (Trent has 3, Bryce has 3) and you've all logged into your own private rooms per our email earlier this week. The GMs are going to be keeping you posted as best you can but you might want to have a book or iPhone handy as there may be gaps as we work out what exactly is happening. Remember that three dots [...] means hang on, there's more text coming. PLEASE KEEP CHATTER TO A MINIMUM. This is going to be difficult enough to manage without sorting through all kinds of cutesy emoticons and jokes. We can joke about it later, if it all works. Also try to keep questions to a minimum. When you need to roll we will tell you what attributes to check, so don't ask: we'll tell you. And while you're waiting, have your stats sheet handy and try to get into character and think about what you would do next. <GM 16:34> Okay, so you've staked out a spot a safe distance from the gutted building that was identified for you as the location of the swap. It's quite cold and, as you said in your email earlier this week, you've brough a lot of weapons so you can't keep a low profile AND stay comfortable. Your intelligence was accurate though since there are lots of scavengers entering the building, including women and children. Not only is this the biggest congregation of scavengers you've ever seen, but you rarely see whole families together, but there are several in attendance. As you sit and watch, you can hear the crowd's murmurs die down as someone starts speaking. A few seconds later you hear some angry shouting from inside. [Start playing!]
<TR 16:36> I stay put and keep watching. I get my shotgun ready, just in case.

<GM 16:42> You see some shadowy figures advancing in the darkness toward the building…
<GM 16:47> As you're watching you see a guy come outside and he gets whacked over the head by one of the MPD guards stationed at the door. They scoot him off to the side and get back into position
<GM 16:51> You see the signal given and the MPD storm the place without a single shot fired. The situation seems pretty stable from your vantage point.
<GM 16:59> From the shadows you see a second group of darkened figures closing in around the buidling.
<TR 16:59> Can I see if they're MPD or scavengers?
<GM 17:01> No. Too dark. But one throws a grenade through the window and the hillside is alight with muzzle flashes as they open fire.

<GM 17:25> He's up and aware of what's going on. He draws in a breath to shout but feels the knife and thinks better of it.
