I couldn't figure out how to keep my story down to 1000 words. I wrote two instead (I know, I know) but split them into separate stories. The first one is called "For Some Must Watch" (which I sent earlier) and this one is called "Feathers" (inspired by the goofy promotion system I read about in the Wiki).
