Raph Singh (born 28 August 2091) is a rank-and-file guard in the MPD.

Early life and family

Raph Singh is one of the first generation born in the MPD settlement of Summerland. His childhood experience was limited to the settlement's perimeter along with rare field trips to the Rock. He was an average student in the basic education curriculum created for children and, like his peers, spent time cooking, cleaning, and working in food prep. His father, an MPD guard, was killed during Project Unification. As an MPD legacy, he enrolled for training at the Rock on his 17th birthday and graduated at the middle of his class.

Raph works as a rank-and-file guard in the MPD and performs low-level tasks of that station, including city sweeps, escort services, and standing guard at MPD-held locations.

Disposition and traits

Raph is a naturally ebulient character, always laughing and joking with his fellow guards. He is also extremely chatty, a trait which often annoys the other guards on his detail. He enjoys card games and exploring the city he wasn't allowed to see as a child. He also dotes on his mother, who still lives in Marcus District of Summerland, though Raph is saving up to move her into Riverside as soon as he can.

He is also more naive than many young men his age, and not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Goals and motivations

Raph is quite excited to be out in the world after living a life of containment. He envisions himself serving heroically in whatever major campaign comes next, fighting valliantly like his father did under the banner of the MPD. More immediately, he wants to explore carnal pleasures such as drinking and visiting the prostitutes at Barnum's Bazaar. The risk of getting caught is part of the good time thrill for Raph.

Primary residence

Raph's station changes regularly but when he has time off, he returns to his mother's dwelling in Summerland.
